As well as One to One coaching I run monthly Fireside Mindfulness drop ins - story, poetry and stillness to connect with universal wisdom, and quarterly Mandala Vision Board Days - meditative adventures that give you the surprising thrill of seeing your own creative truth reflected back to you off the page.
I'm Fay Adams, and if like I have, you've walked the paths of meditation, personal development, or therapy, yet feel there's something you're missing, this work may be for you.
Here, we stop trying to fix ourselves and start listening - to the subtle wisdom of our bodies, our hearts, and our imagination.
There’s a kind of knowing that can’t be thought into being. It lives in your gut and your breath, in your feelings, in the stirrings of your hands, in your 'inner imaginarium' and the gentle shifts within your heart. It even waits in the spaciousness of your 'mind'. Modern life disconnects us from the self-trust that is needed to tune to these kinds of knowing.
Your answers live within.
My role is to be a respectful fellow explorer and experienced compassionate guide, asking questions that help to open your way back to yourself.
When we begin here, we realise that the striving of self-improvement may trap us in the noise in our head, when what is really needed is a deeper relationship with ourselves in the moment.
Over time, you may experience a heartfelt sense of wholeness, clarity, and an unapologetic authenticity to inhabit your life more fully. This is your sovereignty, your inherent worth, felt from the inside out. Walking with this in the world means the gift of you doesn't get lost, and benefits others too.
I work gently and respectfully, creating a safe space where all parts of you, even those long unheard, are welcomed with compassion.
Together, we explore body, heart and mind,
awakening the wisdom that modern life often keeps hidden.

Coaching feels like having a trusted guide who knows the territory walking beside you. It feels so good when you break new ground after being held back. Experience the magic of inner transformation in a down-to-earth real life way, that translates into the change you long for.

Mindfulness

I offer mindfulness and compassion training to groups in the workplace and other settings.
With a crisis in mental health throughout society, the wisdom and practice of mindfulness and compassion training provides invaluable and scientifically proven insight into how we can nurture sustainable wellbeing, both for ourselves, and then by extension for others too.



Fireside Mindfulness

Expect a different wisdom theme each month explored through guided mindfulness practice interspersed with poetry, stories, journaling and sharing.
My vision for this is that it will feel a bit like stepping back in time to the ancient practice of fireside storytelling, but with a mindfulness flavour - and the slightly less cosy context of Zoom.
In these sessions we'll listen to a carefully selected little shower of stories, poems or quotes on a wisdom theme, couched in meditation. We'll spend time experiencing our inner response, followed by breakout rooms and sharing.
Fireside sharing was the original way to pass on the wisdom needed to more gracefully navigate being human together. Let's bring it back!

Mandala Vision Board Days

On this meditative day, you are invited to enter into the mandala of your potential, through creative discovery.
Much of the time we relate to ourselves through what we think about ourselves and there’s often criticism there. Let’s take time to drop out of all that and get in touch with our true heart using mindful creativity. From here everything looks different.
In an imaginative process (similar to a vision board), using accessible art, collage or writing (you choose!), we will create a personally meaningful mandala image step by step.
