Eternity in an Hour - Free Online Meditation 9.15am Thursdays beginning September 10th
How can we fall in love with meditation practice?
Well, it might help to sneak under our meditation taskmaster's radar!
Many of us resist meditation practice. And this is not surprising when it can feel like another thing we have to tick off the list, another place where we have to fulfil instructions given by an external authority, another place we might get it wrong. With all this going on our 'meditation taskmaster' takes control and pushes the meditation.
I want to hold a space where we rest in the richness of the moment in an effortless way, free of all this.
I have some tricks up my sleeve around how to facilitate such a space. One of the tricks is to sit for longer, so that there's not a feeling of rushing towards the end but of really settling in. Settling into timelessness, just for a little while, like in William Blake's famous words:
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.
So if you'd like to rest in the richness of the moment and fall in love with the potential this brings forth, come along!
Join from your bed, your meditation cushion, your garden, your favourite tree or your local park - as long as you can access Zoom. Expect carefully curated guidance at the beginning and end and a stretch of silent togetherness in the middle part of the hour.
All welcome!
